What is not allowed?
OEM manufacturers cannot have animal parts involve in the product ingredients such as bones, claws, hair and fats, where these ingredients are common in non-halal cosmetic manufacturer.
All equipment and ingredients must be alcohol-free, which are highly important as a risk for manufacturers. It is also important to know that halal ingredients are not necessarily vegan. It is therefore crucial to always read the ingredient label and certification before making a purchase.
